Thomas has been involved in the UK environmental sector since completing a MSc in soil science in 2006. He has worked for a multinational environmental consultancy in the area of land contamination and as a researcher for Waste Watch (now part of Keep Britain Tidy). As a consultant for Eunomia Research & Consulting, his varied work centred on UK and European waste and resource policy.
Now working in a university setting, he delivers executive education programmes and advises large corporates. In recent years, his focus has been on the sustainable use of resources with a particular emphasis on policy measures and business strategies to encourage a shift towards a more sustainable economy.
